Assistant Product Engineer

Responsibilities

To familiarize project scopes as instructed by managements and related materials Including animation/ novel/ comics of relevant characters and basic sense of researching existing products in the market
Implement engineering design in 3D software (CAD and Mesh) based on materials provided.
Collaborate with design team to deliver manufacturable CAD files.
Build, test prototypes and prepare review report for follow-up actions
Provide solutions to various manufacturing problems.
Optimize cost saving measures during manufacturing process.
Prepare documents for the manufacturing process.
Collaborate with vendor / factory engineer to secure the production schedule and quality of products.
Responsible for project progress follow-up and abnormal handling, updates and reporting.
Day trip to factory for on-site support is required.
Documents management and organizing are required.

Requirements

Diploma or above in relevant disciplines
3 years of relevant work experience
Past Project Portfolio / Relevant job references is necessary
Good command in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
3D Software skill is a must, SolidWorks / Pro-E or relevant skills highly preferred.
Basic skills in reporting documentation / Office software are required.
Well organized, with good interpersonal & communication skills as a team player.
Availability: negotiable
